MANOR KETTLEBY - Sara + Jason review on GOOGLE

We love reviews - especially when their from a couple as great as Sara + Jason
who got married at the Manor this past October. We had a blast creating the centerpieces, chuppah, aisle decor, flower arrangements and bridal bouquet. I must admit this review on Google made me blush a bit.

NICE STEMS IS THE BEST!!!!‎‎
Margarite is seriously the best florist in this city. You won't find anyone else who is as detail oriented, creative and passionate about what she does than her. She went the extra mile for our October 2010 wedding...from the chuppah, to the decor to my gorgeous bouquet of orange calalillies, everything was completely perfect! She's also such a great person to work with. She was able to help us make decisions on our colors and our decor as we weren't exactly sure what we wanted walking in. She takes her job very seriously so everything you see at your wedding will be completely perfect. She also does everything with a smile! I know so many people who have had their flowers arrive and they are either wilting or they aren't exactly what they ordered. That will NOT happen with Margarite. She will make sure you get exactly what you want. She really made our romantic vision come to life and I thank her from the bottom of my heart for doing everything she could for us. LOOK NO FURTHER!!!! Thank you Margarite. We will stay in touch with you over the years to come and will make sure you do all our flowers for every special event in our lives. Love Sara & Jason - Toronto

GRAYDON HALL MANOR - WEDDING VIDEO

This was such a beautiful wedding.
Heres what the couple wrote on Google Review about us:

"Nice Stems is amazing!!!‎‎ Margarite at Nice Stems is absolutely amazing!!! All of our flowers were absolutely gorgeous and our guests are still raving about them. I had described my ideal bouquet to Margarite and there it was on my wedding day! Margarite does a great job of actually listening to what you want and then making it appear on your special day. I couldn't be happier. All of the flowers were so artfully done and she definitely helped us create our wedding vision. We wanted something a little bit different for our wedding centrepieces and Margarite made that happen as well. The guests were so excited to take them home!! Margarite creates the loveliest flowers, but is also such a great person to work with. She is the great mix of creativity and being organized. She goes over every detail with you and all of the flowers arrived labelled and ready to go! Margarite and Nice Stems definitely exceeded our expectations and I would recommend them to anyone. We were so lucky to find her and I can't thank her enough!!"

ROSEWATER SUPPER CLUB - REVIEW

"All I can say is AMAZING! We had an idea of what we wanted as far as centerpieces, but were open to suggestions, and one I told her what our venue was she began sketching and had me sold. She designed for us exactly what we wanted but could not describe. The floral designs from Nice Stems were gorgeous, and affordable, when we mentioned a budget she did not go over it, and did as much as she could with what we had to work with. All of our guests loved the centerpieces, and Yancy and I could not have been more happy with her service and design skills. This was certainly one of our favourite vendors…we give her + Nice Stems two thumbs up…5 stars, etc!"

Wedding Tradition - Tossing the Bouquet

The bridal bouquet toss tradition goes back to 14th century France where it was believed that a bride was especially lucky on her wedding day. After the ceremony guests would try to tear a piece of fabric from the brides dress for luck. For a brief time, in an effort to stop the attacks on the bride, the bride would throw her stockings or garter. Eventually tossing the bouquet became widely used. It is said that the person who catches the bouquet is next to marry.

Most brides choose to keep their own bouquet and have a smaller one as the toss bouquet.
Some brides completely opt out of this tradition,
while others prefer to hand the bouquet to a honoured guest.
